At the heart of Redwood Equity Capital Group are two dynamic leaders with decades of combined experience in real estate, lending, entrepreneurship, and business development.
Eric McGill brings over 20 years of cross-industry expertise—beginning his career as a residential loan officer and evolving into a trusted SBA and private funding specialist.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Eric owns a successful CrossFit gym and leads a business consulting firm where he helps founders structure startups, build financial projections, and secure funding.
With real estate investments of his own, Eric offers clients a unique “from both sides of the table” perspective.
Driven, disciplined, and deeply client-focused, Eric is also a world-class Masters weightlifter and devoted family man.
Darrell Vanderstelt complements Eric with a powerhouse background in real estate development, construction, and startup growth.
A U.S. Air Force veteran with a foundation in civil engineering, Darrell has spent over 25 years building residential projects and scaling businesses—including RE/MAX Hometown, Dutch Brothers Development, and DV Building Group.
As an investor with a strategic edge across both liquid and equity markets, Darrell blends practical development knowledge with smart capital deployment strategies.
He’s also a hands-on leader at Ball Septic Tank Services and an active member of his Duck Lake community, where he lives with his wife Haley and their two children.
